In an effort to maximize efficiency, limit unnecessary replication of services, and reduce costs, Wall Fire District 1 has entered into the following shared service agreements as authorized by the “Uniform Shared Services and Consolidation Act” N.J.S.A. 40A:65-1 through 40A:65-35:
- Wall Township Fire District No. 1 has agreed to assume the role of Local Enforcing Agency of the New Jersey Uniform Fire Code and provide Wall Township Fire District No. 2 and Wall Township Fire District No. 3 with fire prevention and enforcement services as required by the NJ State Uniform Fire Code. Effective January 1, 2016
- Wall Township Fire District No. 1 has agreed to provide Wall Township Fire District No. 3 with the services of its Qualified Purchasing Agent (QPA), payroll/benefits and pension administration, and procurement staff team. Effective January 1, 2018
- Wall Township Fire District No. 3 has agreed to provide Wall Township Fire District No. 1 with career fire personnel to supplement Fire District 1’s volunteer personnel with calls for service Monday-Friday during normal business hours (6:30am-4:30pm). Effective May 14, 2018
- Wall Township Fire District No. 1 has agreed to provide Wall Township Fire District No. 2 with the services of its Qualified Purchasing Agent (QPA), payroll/benefits and pension administration, and procurement staff team. Effective January 1, 2020
