NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that sealed bids will be received by the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Wall, for the Repair, Correction of Deficiencies, Upgrades and Preventive Maintenance of One (1) 2005 Seagrave Meanstick Quint Aerial Apparatus (“Quint”) on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time at the Wall Fire District No. 1 Administrative Building located at 1612 Route 71, Wall, New Jersey, at which time they will be opened and read by the Board Clerk or designated representative.

Specifications and information may be obtained by contacting the Law Offices of Sendzik & Sendzik, P.C., 1808 Route 88, Brick, New Jersey 08724, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., telephone number (732) 840-6464 or by requesting same at sendziklaw@comcast.net.
Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “Seagrave Quint Bid” on the outside addressed to the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Wall. The bid must be delivered to the Wall Fire District No. 1 Administrative Building located at 1612 Route 71, Wall, New Jersey, at 10:00 a.m. on February 26, 2026. If mailed, all bids must be mailed by Certified Mail to the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Wall, 1612 Route 71, Wall, New Jersey 07719, and received on or before the above set forth time and date.

No bid will be considered unless in writing on the form furnished.

Bids may not be faxed, transmitted over the telephone or emailed. The Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Wall, assumes no responsibility for delays in any form of carrier, mail or delivery service causing the bid to be received untimely.

All questions concerning this Notice to Bidders shall be addressed to Law Offices of Sendzik & Sendzik, P.C., via email at sendziklaw@comcast.net.

Bidders must submit with the bid an “Ownership Disclosure Form” and a “Non-Collusion Affidavit” on the forms included in the bid package.

Bidders must submit proof with the bid of registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, by submitting a copy of bidder’s Business Registration Certificate.
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127, N.J.A.C. 17:27.

The Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Wall, reserves the right to reject any or all bids not deemed to be in the best interest of the Fire District.
It is the purpose of the Notice to Bidders to summarize some of the provisions of the bid documents. Prospective bidders are cautioned not to rely solely on this Notice but to read the bid documents in their entirety.

NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Wall, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, will hold a public hearing on the approved 2026 District budget pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:14-78.2 on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at Wall Fire Company No. 1, 1511 18th Avenue, Wall, New Jersey.  At said date, time and place the Board intends to adopt the approved 2026 District budget.  All taxpayers of the District and persons having an interest therein shall be given an opportunity to ask questions and to present objections.  A complete copy of the approved 2026 District budget shall be available to each person requesting same seven (7) days preceding the public hearing from the Fire District Administrator, William G. Newberry, at the Wall Fire District No. 1 Administrative Building, 1612 Route 71, Wall, New Jersey, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Formal action may be taken.

NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Wall, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, shall hold its regular monthly meetings for 2026 on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. on the following dates with the exception of January’s meeting which will be held on the second Thursday of that month at 7:30 p.m. and July’s meeting which will be held on the third Thursday of that month at 5:00 p.m.:
January 8, February 5, March 5, April 2, May 7, June 4, July 16, September 3, October 1, November 5 and December 3.
There will be no regular monthly meeting during the month of August.
All regular meetings shall be held at the Wall Fire Company No. 1, 1511 18th Avenue, Wall, New Jersey. Public participation at the regular public meetings shall be at such times as are set forth in the agenda of the meeting and in such manner as is established by the presiding officer.
The agenda shall include, but not be limited to, matters involving personnel, business and finance, approval of minutes, public session, administrative and operational reports, building and grounds, apparatus and equipment, maintenance and repairs, litigation, if necessary, legislation, communications and insurance.
A special meeting (Officer Installation) will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Wall Fire Company No. 1, 1511 18th Avenue, Wall, New Jersey.
Workshop meetings for 2026 will be held on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. on the following dates with the exception of January’s meeting which will be held on the second Thursday of that month:
January 8, February 5, March 5, April 2, May 7, June 4, September 3, October 1, November 5 and December 3.
There will be no workshop meeting during the month of July and the month of August.
All workshop meetings shall be held at the Wall Fire Company No. 1, 1511 18th Avenue, Wall, New Jersey. The public will not be permitted to participate in the workshop meetings but may be present.
The agenda for the workshop meetings may include, but not be limited to, matters involving personnel, business and finance, approval of minutes, administrative and operational reports, building and grounds, apparatus and equipment, maintenance and repairs, litigation, if necessary, legislation, communications and insurance.
The public may be excluded from portions of the regular and workshop meetings pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-12.
Formal action may be taken at both the regular and workshop meetings.
This notice is being given pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq.
